So here I go! Researching how the heck I am gonna get to Madrid and then hop all over Europe. So far the plan is use Carla's companion pass to NYC where I'll spend a few nights with our friend Julie then off to Madrid somewhere between June 3 to 5. However, after school ends Damien's going to come on over and we'd like to go to Florence to eat eat eat , London to hang with my cousins and Jazz it up and to a bar in Ireland?? Ok..you think we'll find one in Ireland? Going to hook up and yack with a travel agent this week so I can get all this hopping around planned out and know what the $$ damage will be. No matter..it will be worth it to hablas espanol and to see Damien's spirit enjoy his first time on the other side of the pond. WOW!
Oh and I still have to pay my tuition..around $4000.00 for 7 weeks of room/board w/private bathroom and entrance, 2 meals a day, 5 (4 hr) classes a week and 20 hours per week extra curricular courses such as dance, cooking, tours through Spain/Portugal and much much more. I can also choose from many weekend trips designed to study the history, people and food of Spain at a extra costs. I definitely plan on heading up to Burgos y Leon where the Carrasco name seems to have originated. I sure hope I can find some ancestral connection for my family and if I don't...well I'll be coming back with the Castilian lisp the Carrasco's should have.
